How does the graph of g (x) = - 5+2 compare to the graph of the parent function f (x) = =?

g (x) is shifted 5 units left and 2 units up from f (x).

g (x) is shifted 5 units right and 2 units up from f (x).

g (x) is shifted 5 units left and 2 units down from f (x).

What ever the f (x) numbers are you just move - 5 which is the x to the left. You move the + 2 up from the y axis.

    Step-by-step explanation:

Lets say I have (7,3) in the graph.

You count - 5 from 7 which will be 2.

Then you count + 2 from 3 which will be 5

The new dot or equation will be (2,5)
