    11 and 6 respectively

    Step-by-step explanation:

    1st number=x

    2nd number=x-5

    three times the second number=3 (x-5) = 3x-15

    3x-15+x=29

    put the liketerms together=3x+x=29+15

    4x=44

    (divide both sides by 4) x=11
