Average decrease in car's value per year = 1800$

    Explanation:

The worth of car bought by Mr. Solan = 30000$

    Reduction of car's price = 5400$

Number of years considered for measuring reduction of car's price = 3 years.

Average of values = Total of the values / Number of values.

Average reduction per year = Total reduction / Number of years.

    = 5400/3 = 1800$

So average decrease in car's value per year = 1800$
