    he should share 11 tickets

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Since Alan has more tickets he transfers a quantity "x" to his brother.

    Now Alan has = 41 stickers - "x" stickers that he borrowed

    And his brother has now = 19 stickers + "x" stickers that he received from Alan

    Since now they have the same number of tickets

    Tickets that has Alan = Tickets that has this brother

    41 - x = 19 + x

    summing x in both sides

    41 - x + x = 19 + x + x

    41 - 0 = 19 + 2*x

    subtracting 19

    41 - 19 = 2*x

    dividing by 2

    22 / 2 = 2*x / 2

    x = 22/2 = 11

    so both will have 30 tickets
