Across me believe that a triangle can have both a right angle and obtuse angle which of the following statements could use to convince him he is crime correct it is not possible because the sum of the angles in the Triangle cannot exceed 180 degrees be it is not possible because of the triangle had an obtuse triangle that means all the angles are obtuse angles see it not possible because of the triangle has a right angle that means all the angles are right angles and see it is possible the classmate is correct

    All angles inside a triangle must add up to 180

    x+y+z=180

    if it is a right triangle, then one is 90 degrees

    x+90+z=180

    subtract 90

    x+z=90

    obtuse means that the angle is greater than 90

    that is impossible because if x or z is greater than 90, then the other term must be negative which is impossible

    it is not possible because the sum of the angles in the Triangle
