    Woman's height = woman's shadow height

    tree's height tree's shadow height

    5 = 10

    x 116

    580 = 10x

    x = 58 ft

    If her shadow is 10 feet long and she is 5 feet, that means the shadow is more 2 times larger. If the shadow is 116 ft, the tree would be 58 ft.
