    The zeroes of the polynomial are the values of x that will make the f (x) = 0.

    0 = x^2 + x - 6

    Use factoring,

    0 = (x + 3) (x - 2)

    x + 3 = 0 and x - 2 = 0

    Thus, the values of x are x = - 3 and x = 2.
