An athlete pays 1/10 of her annual income to her agent. The agent pays 2/9 of that money to his assistant. What fraction of her annual income is the athlete paying the assistant?

    You multiply the fractions like this:

    1/10 * 2/9 = 2/90

    Then you reduce it.

    1/45

    So 1/45 of the athlete's annual income is payed to the assistant.
