You just have to rewrite the equation in y=mx+b
m = slope
b = y-intercept
5x-y+3=0
first u got to move the Y to the other side
5x-y+3=0
+y = + y
so u add + y to both sides
and get 5x+3=y or you could flip it y=5x+3
y=mx+b
slope = 5
y-intercept = 3

-y = - 5x-3
y = 5x+3
Y = mx+b
M = slope = 5/1 = 5
B = y intercept = 3 = (0,3).
