    Remember

ln is just log base e

    ok so properties

    log (a/b) = loga-logb

    log (ab) = loga+logb

    log (a^x) = xloga

    so

    ln (y (y+2) ^5) / (y-1) =

    ln (y (y+2) ^5) - ln (y-1) =

    lny+ln (y+2) ^5-ln (y-1) =

    lny+5ln (y+2) - ln (y-1)
