Ed wants to show 137+429 with placevalue blocks. he has enough hundreds and ones blocks but only 4 tens blocks. can he show the problem? explain.

    No because he doesn't have enough ten blocks 3 plus 2tens is 5 tens. He only had 4

    In theory he can by using 20 extra one blocks instead of the 2 missing tens since he has "enough ones". the question is too broad to have one definite answer.
