Given the function f (x) = 2x-5 and g (x) = 2x+8. Which of the following would describe the transformation that changes f (x) into g (x) ?

    Hi there!

    The slope of both lines is the same (2). We need to transformate f (x) 13 upwards to get g (x).

    f (x) = 2x - 5

    g (x) = 2x - 5 + 13 = 2x + 8
