    5.457 inch

    Step-by-step explanation:

Letd note that 1 inch = 0.0833 feet

    So the initial scale is

    2 inches:5 feet.

    I. e 0.1666:5 in feet

    Original width is 8

So the actual size of the width is

    = (8*5) / 0.1666

    = 240.096 feet

    So the new scale is

    1 inch:44 feet

    Which is 0.0833:44 in ft

But the actual size of the width in real life is = 240.096

Then in the second scale is

    = / (240.096*0.0833) 44

    = 0.454545 ft

    In inches = 0.4545/0.0833

    = 5.457 inch
