The total number of resumes Emily prints = 300

She pays $24.50 for the first hundred resumes. Therefore, number of resumes that remain = 300-100 = 200 resumes

/Now she pays a flat rate for each additional 100 resumes.

She pay a total of 48.50 for total of 300 resumes. Since she pays 24.50 for the first 100, the amount the remains = 48.50 = 24.50 = $24

Therefore, she pays 24 for 2 sets of 100 resumes

Therefore the flat rate after the first 100 resumes = 24/2 = $12
