    I find that you should ask yourself the questions in options a), c) and d) - all those options have in common that you wonder whether using a credit card is advisable in this situation.

    However, you should not ask yourself the following question:

    b. What else can I purchase to reach my full credit limit

    This will only make you spend more money on items that you likely don't need.
