    Hey,

    To find the area of a circle, the formula is pi times radius squared. Radius is half of diameter, to find radius divide diameter by 2.

    Radius = 24.4 : 2 = 12.2

    Area = π • r²

    Area = 3.14 • 12.2²

    Area = 3.14 • 148.84

    Area = 467.36 (467.3576 rounded to nearest hundredth)

    Answer is C. 467.36

    Cheers,
