The rug is 1 1/2 meters wide and 3 1/6 meters long. What is it's area?

    All you need to do is times 1 1/2 * 3 1/6. That equals 4.75 or 4 3/4

    It is easier if we turn this into decimals, thus, 1.50 metres and 3.16 recurring. The we times the length by the area. 1.5x3.16 this is 4.74cm squared.
