If an object is dropped from a height of 200 feet, the function h (t) = - 16t^2 + 200 gives the height of the object after t seconds. Approximately, when will the object hit the ground?

    200 feet = 200 * 0.3048 = 60.96 m

    e = 0.5 * g * t ^2

    e = 60.96

    g = 9.8 m/s2

    t = ?

    t^2 = 60.96 / 0.5 * 9.81 = 12.440

    t = 3.5271 s
