What is y=-2 (x+5) (x-5) in standard form? And how do u get the answer?

    Y = - 2 (x + 5) (x - 5)

    y = - 2 (x (x - 5) + 5 (x - 5))

    y = - 2 (x (x) - x (5) + 5 (x) - 5 (5))

    y = - 2 (x² - 5x + 5x - 25)

    y = - 2 (x² - 25)

    y = - 2 (x²) - 2 (-25)

    y = - 2x² + 50
