A circle has a diameter of 10 centimeters and a central angle eog that measures 210°. what is the area of the shaded sector? use 3.14 for pi and round your answer to the nearest tenth.

    The area of sector is given by:

    A=θ/360πr²

    θ=210°

    r=10/2=5 cm

    thus the area will be:

    A=210/360*π*5²

    A=210/360*3.14*5²

    A=45.8 cm²
