Kathryn and Dan each improved their yards by planting grass sod and shrubs. They bought their supplies from the same store. Kathryn spent $146 on 14ft if grass sod and 2 shrubs. Dan spent $167 on 14ft of grass and 9 shrubs. What is the cost of one ft of grass sod and the cost of one shrub

    146/14ft=10.43

    1 ft of grass sod = $10.43

    DAN

    167-146=21

    $21 was spent on shrubs because $146 was spent on 14ft if grass.

    21/9=2.33

    Each shrub cost $2.33
