    425

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the cost of bench be x.

    It is given that garden table cost 79 more than bench.

    if cost of bench is x then cost of garden table will be x+79.

    Total cost of bench and garden table in terms of x = x + x+79 = 2x+79

    it is given that total cost is 929.

    so, 929 should be equal to 2x+79

    2x+79 = 929

    => 2x = 929 - 79 = 850

    => x = 850/2 = 425

    Thus, cost of bench is x which 425
