If - 3x+5+5x-1+=0, then does x=2

Plug x = 2 into the equation and see if it fits
-3 (2) + 5 + 5 (2) - 1 should equal 0
but it = - 6 + 5 + 10 - 1 = 8 so x is NOT = 2
