John and Sophia are saving money to buy a hover board. The total amount of money John will save is given by the function f (x) = x2 + 2x. The total amount of money Sophia will save is given by the function g (x) = 10x + 20. After how many weeks, x, will they have the same amount of money saved? Only an algebraic solution will be accepted

    Answer: 10 weeks

    Step by step equation: The equations are f (x) = x^2+2x and g (x) = 10x+20. Plug in 10 for x in both equatiom would get you f (x) = 10^10 (100) + 20, and g (x) = 10 (10) + 20
