A dice with 6 sides is rolled 24 times, so if we divide the total number of times rolled, by the different possibilities that can be rolled (1 through 6):

    24/6 = 4

then we see that each number is likely to be rolled 4 times.

Since we want to know how many times 2 or 5 will be rolled, we can add the 4 times the 2 will be rolled to the 4 times the 4 will be rolled, and we find that the answer is 8.

    D. 8
