Mark buys a wooden board that is 7 1/2 feet long. The cost of the board is $0.50 per foot, including tax. What is the total cost, in dollars, of Mark's board?

    The total cost is $3.75. Dividing the total length (7.5) by price per length (0.5) we can get the total cost (3.75). 7.5/0.5=3.75
