Find the volume of a sphere, given that its surface area is 600cm2, round your answer to 3 significant figures.

    Well, surface area is 4 * pie * r^2

    and volume = 4/3 * pie * r^3

    so, 600 = 4 * 3.14 * r^2

    r^2 = 47.77

    r=6.91

    v = 4/3 * 3.14 * 6.91^3 = 1381.979 cm3
