At a local fair, a roller coaster takes 19.63 seconds to complete one ride. If six people can ride at the same time, use estimation to determine how many people can ride the roller coaster in one hour.

    It is given that at a local fair, a roller coaster takes 19.63 seconds to complete one ride

    six people can ride at the same time

    one hour=60 minute

    1 minute = 60 second

    therefore, one hour = 3600 sec

    therefor no of people who can ride the roller coaster in one hour=3600*6/19.63=1100 people

    therefore 1100 is the answer
