What is the area of the triangular floor space enclosed by the glass tetrahedron? Round to the nearest tenth of a square foot. Enter only the number. (Hint: Look at the green triangle to find the base, b, of each green triangle. Because b is also the hypotenuse of the right triangle formed by dividing the base triangle into half, you can use this and Heron's formula for the area of the triangle.)

    tan (35) = 105/x where x is one of the sides.

    x = 150 ft

    Height of base triangle = √ (150^2 - 130^2) = 74.83 ft

    Area = (1/2) (base) (height) = (1/2) (260 ft) (74.83 ft) = 9728 ft^2
