Colton scored a 70 on his first math test of the semester and a 91 on his second math test. By what percent did Colton's score increase?

    Well, 91-70=21. We now know that he score 21 percent better than last test. Then we can make a proportion to find increase as it corresponds to the score on his first math test.

    21/70=0.3 or 30%
