95/2.1 the length of a rectangular poster is 10 inches longer than the width. if the perimeter of the poster is 124 inches, what is the width?

    So basically I let length = w + 10

    perimeter = 124

    therefore, w+w+w+10+w+10 = 124

    will give you, 4w + 20 = 124

    then subtract, 4w = 124 - 20

    then divide, w = 104 / 4

    results,. w = 26 inches.

    in conclusion, width = 26inches and

    length = 26 + 10 = 36inches.
