The grocery store manager decided that there might be a relationship between the number of items purchased by a customer and the number of minutes it took the customer to finish buying groceries. Therefore the grocery store manager collected the following data at random times over a one week period. The data below is shown in pairs of data values with the number of items purchased shown directly above the number of minutes required for the customer to buy groceries. For example, when 12 items were purchased it took the customer 21.6 minutes to buy groceries. When the second observation was recorded the customer purchased 25 items and it took the customer 30.5 minutes to buy groceries.

Number Items Purchased = 12 25 14 7 18 5 9 21 10 8

Minutes Required = 21.6 30.5 23.0 17.7 25.1 16.5 19.8 26.7 20.4 18.5
