The senior class at Lincoln high had a car wash to raise money for grad night. The boys and girls competed against each other to see who can raise the most money. The girls raised $246 by selling 5 van tickets and 12 car tickets. The boys raised $198 by selling 5 van tickets and 6 car tickets. Let c represent the price of a car ticket and v represent the price of a van ticket. The following system of equations represents this situation: 5v+12c=246 5v+6c=198 How much did each ticket cost?
