How would I do 3.4+1.8=3.4 (t+8)

    Use distributive property

    3.4+1.8=3.4t + 27.2

    Subtract 3.4 from both sides

    1.8=3.4t + 23.8

    Subtract 23.8 from both sides

    -22=3.4t

    Divide 3.4 on both sides

    Final Answer: - 6.47=t
