A forest covers an area of 2000 km^2. Suppose that each year this decreases by 8.25%. What will the area be after 7 years? Round answer to nearest square kilometer.

    Each year the forest is (100-8.25) = 91.75% of the previous year.

    - or by 0.9175

    Area after 7 years will be 2000 (0.9175) ^7 = 1095 sq kms.
