    for inequalities, if you multiply or divide both sides by a negative number, you flip the direction of the inequality sign

    -5.3≥6.7+4.3+q

    add like terms

    -5.3≥11+q

    minus 11 both sides

    -16.3≥q

    q≤-16.3
