A dinner costs $48 and they leave a 20% tip, how much $ will they leave at the restaurant with the tip. Does this make sense?

    They will leave $57.60 in total. The tip is $9.60. You find this out by making the percentage a decimal and multiplying it by the amount you must pay. 48 times 0.20 = 9.6
