Jerome must run 2.3 miles on Saturday and Sunday to meet his goal

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Monday: 1.5 miles

    Tuesday: 1.7 miles

    Wednesday: 0 miles

    Thursday: 2.2 miles

    Friday: 0 miles

    Add 1.5+1.7+2.2=5.4 miles

    Subtract 10-5.4=4.6

    Divide 4.6 by 2 = 2.3

    Double Check: 1.5+1.7+2.2+2.3+2.3=10
