When we consider Linear Correlation between two numerical sets, there can be 3 possible relations

    a) Positive Association

    b) Negative Association

    c) No Association

Negative Association or Negative Correlation refers to such a relation in which if values in one data set are being increased, the values in the other data set will decrease, resulting in a negative association. Such data sets always have the value of correlation coefficient between 0 and - 1 i. e. a negative value.
