What does the expression 15 - 3[2+6 (-3] simplify to?

    You start by doing order of operations. First parenthesis, in this case [2+6 (-3) ]. Which leaves you with [8 (-3) ]. Multiply and you have - 27. Now for 15-3 which is 12. You're left with 12-27 which is simplified.
