The volume of a cube is given by the formula v - s^3, where s is the length of a side of the cube. What is the volume, in cubic feet, of the cube shown below?

    I think you meant to write v = s^3

    Plug s = 4 into the equation and simplify

    v = s^3

    v = 4^3

    v = 4*4*4

    v = 16*4

    v = 64

    The volume of the object is 64 cubic feet.
