For an has a rope that is 7 meters long he cuts away a piece that is 1.34 meters long how long is remaining piece of rope

    For this we just need to do a simple subtraction of 7-1.34

    I find the easiest way to do this is to subtract 0.34 from 1 to give 0.66.

    You can then add this to 7 - 1 - 1 = 5

    So the remaining rope is 5.66
