Solve and explain how you got the answer:

Pete owes his brother $35 from 5 weeks of borrowing money. If Pete continues to borrow money, how much money will he owe after 3 more weeks?

    Well if Pete has a total of $35 from the past 5 weeks 35 divided by 5 is 7. So Pete has been borrowing $7 each week, if he continues borrowing $7 for the next 3 weeks that would be $21 more dollars. Therefore 35+21 = 56.
