A student collects data on the amount of water w, in ounces, and the amount of soda s, in ounces, that a random sample of people drink each day. She finds that there is a negative linear relationship between the variables that is best modeled by the equation w=-1.4s+16.8. for each additional ounce of soda that people drink each day, the model predicts, a decrease or increase? which is which of the follwoing 1.4, 15.4 or 16.8 in the number of ounces of water they drink each day

    1.4 and there was a decrease in the slope.
