Dan read 4 1/6 books. omar read 1 5/6 books. how many more books did dan read than omar?

    What you have to do first is put them both into improper fractions first. 4 1/6 would be 4 time 6 plus 1 which equals 25/6. Next 1 5/6 would be 1 times 6 plus 5 which equals 11/6. Next what you have to do is subtract 25-6 which equals 19. Next you put 19/6. Two ways to answer is to leave it improper or as a mix number. Answer for improper fraction is 19/6. The other way for a mix number is 3 1/6.

    Well if u make it a improper fraction it would be Dan:25/6 and Omar : 11/6 and 25 minus 11 is 14/6 so 2 4/6 simplified into 2 2/3 so you're answer is 2 2/3
