    The midrange of a given set of data is the value in mid-way the greatest and the least number. Other way of putting it is that, midrange is the average or mean of the greatest and least number.

    From the set given,

    Greatest number = 1.47

    Least number = 0.81

    The average of these numbers is calculated as follows:

    Average = (1.47 + 0.81) / 2 = 1.14

    Therefore, the answer is 1.14.
