How do you solve 2n+6=-28

    You put your like terms together so, you do the opposite of addition which is subtraction.

    So you subtract 6 on each side, and - 28-6 is - 34

    so now you have 2n=-34 and since 2 has the variable you have to divide by 2 on each side so how you have n = - 34:2

    so 34:2 = 17 and since the terms are unlike you have to put a negative sign

    so n=-17
