    What do we know?

$19 per month for every day

$15 per month for 6 days a week

The second piece of information isn't important, because they want to know how much it costs for every day of the year.

If it's $19 per month, and we need a year, how many months are in a year? 12. So we multiply $19 by 12 months to get the answer:

    19 x 12 = 228

It costs $228 to receive a newspaper every day of the year.
