The science museum is $.50 more expensive. To solve it first divide (for the science one) 7 by 7 and divide 40.25 by seven so 1 = 5.75. Then (for the art one) divide 6 by 6 and 31.50 by 6 to have 1 = 5.25 there for that is the one ratio of tickets making them easier to compare

    a 0.50

    Step-by-step explanation:

    40.25/7 = 5.75

    31.50/6 = 5.25

    5.75 - 5.25=.50
