A sail is in the form of a right angle that is four times as high as it is wide. The sail is made from 32 square meters of material. What is the height?

    Let x be the width, then the height = 4x

    Area of this right triangle is x (4x) / 2

    Area = 4x²/2 = 32 m²

    x² = 16

    x = 4 m. If the width is 4 m, the height = 4 x 4 = 16 m
